The Roadside Church of St. Vasilije Ostroski is the Holy Roadside
Temple intended for unexpected travelers and all of those who are
coming in the name of God. It was built by pietistic brotherhood of
the Humanitarian
Fund of theParish
of Preljina, regarding 2000th
anniversary of Christianity.
The twenieth century that is behind us
was burdened with difficulties of all kinds. Besides many conquerors that were crushing us,
the most dangerous was the one who estranged us, spread hatred between us and turned
brother against brother. |

Therefore, we had a horrible phenomenon of expelling God that
lasted a long period of time. And after all those powerful
temptations, we are showing that we are brothers, reconciled,
gathered around a sublimed idea, spiritually restored and that we
are entering the third millennium like a true people of God.
This Holy Temple is a contribution to Christ for his 2000th birthday
and simultaneously an expression of our unselfish Christian love. |
